Suffolk County Kennel Club

Intro to “Donations Page” of SCKC Website

Since it’s founding in 1938, the Suffolk County Kennel Club has focused its attention not only on presenting the customary dog events, but also on being a contributing good citizen within the greater community which it represents.

Accordingly, in addition to major canine competitions, it has sponsored

  • canine legislative seminars,
  • instructional opportunities in human-canine activities,
  • responsible dog-ownership educational programs for community citizens,
  • and designated a portion of the proceeds from all its competitive events to the financial support of dog-related charities and non-profits, canine law enforcement, canine rescue and welfare, and canine therapy activities.

Below is a list of the many organizations which have been the beneficiaries of personal and financial support from the Suffolk County Kennel Club.
